Summary

Join IntelliDyne as an Accounting Associate and contribute to the Finance & Accounting Department. This remote, part-time position, based on the East Coast, involves full-cycle accounts payable and receivable, including data entry, reconciliation, and check processing. You will ensure financial system accuracy and compliance. The role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication. Requirements

  • Have 0-3 years of accounting or financial reporting experience
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Have experience with Microsoft Outlook & Word
  • Be able to work in a team environment, maintain a positive attitude, and be a strong team player
  • Be able to be self-motivated and work independently on task
  • Be able to multi-task and take assignments on the spot
  • Be able to problem-solve and have sound judgment when performing duties
  • Be organized and pay attention to details with follow-up as needed
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Handle information with a high level of security and confidentiality
  • Be able to effectively communicate and collaborate across all levels of the company including executive management, program and project management, and internal business operation managers
  • Be able to quickly change priorities based on the changing business needs and requirements
  • Be able to effectively and efficiently manage ad-hoc requests

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for standard daily/weekly/semi-monthly, and monthly accounting operations including AP, AR, and reconciliations
  • Combine pdf and electronically file AP, AR, and anything else to keep the department organized
  • Execute, and maintain sound and effective internal controls
  • Support the Senior Accountant in the development and management of DCAA financial deliverables including annual DCAA incurred cost submission
  • Manage cash disbursements for payment
  • Manage cash receipts and ensure timely reporting with AR, following up with clients on outstanding invoice amounts
  • Become an Expert in expense within the Deltek system to allow the company to fully utilize the system to its full potential including but not limited to travel
  • Be able to watch Deltek videos and always stay up to date on the latest and be able to verbalize those changes to the team
  • Support the Senior Accountant including but not limited to audit request, ad hoc request, and anything else required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Have Deltek Costpoint knowledge and experience
