Summary

Requirements

  • Have 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role
  • Be proficient in financial analysis, modeling, and interpretation
  • Have strong knowledge of accounting principles and fiscal procedures
  • Have advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including spreadsheet creation and financial functions
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with a data-driven approach to growth
  • Have excellent time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Be detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities

Responsibilities

  • Streamline and enhance the tracking of customer payments and the creation of invoices to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Accurately manage and document all financial transactions, including petty cash and bank-related expenses
  • Perform in-depth financial and variance analyses to facilitate informed and strategic business decisions
  • Ensure vendor invoices are properly collected, organized into assigned folders, and accurately uploaded into Zoho
  • Oversee and evaluate budgets, financial statements, forecasts, and other essential financial records
  • Design and implement effective internal processes and controls to optimize financial operations
  • Generate detailed reports highlighting financial KPIs, cost trends, and revenue performance
  • Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks with precision and adherence to deadlines
  • Process refunds to clients efficiently while ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies
  • Promptly identify and resolve discrepancies in financial accounts
  • Research market trends and industry developments to provide actionable insights
  • Collaborate closely with team members to achieve overarching departmental objectives
