Requirements
- High School diploma and currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelorβs degree program for Accounting
- Utilization of knowledge and skills developed during completion of a specified technical undergraduate degree program with at least 2-3 years of college completed in a major related to the assigned department, program or function
- Strong attention to detail, written and oral communication skills, the ability to understand and follow complex, detailed instructions, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Must be flexible and able to handle multiple priorities, and be able to work for short to moderate periods of time without direct supervision
- Working knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook are required
Responsibilities
- Test assigned entity-level controls and process-level controls for multiple locations based on prescribed audit procedures
- Document testing results in accordance with standard workpaper methodology
- Address review comments provided by Senior Staff and Management
- Assist in tracking and monitoring of external audit requests
- Assist in SOX process walkthroughs and maintenance of SOX documentation
- Perform a variety of administrative functions including maintenance of database information by entering and updating content, filing, scheduling, planning and preparation
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Live within close proximity to the ESA Corporate offices in Fort Worth, TX for onsite work as needed
