Accounts Payable Intern

Summary

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.)
• Ability to quickly learn new software tools and financial systems
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• A proactive mindset with eagerness to take on new challenges

Responsibilities

• Assist in downloading, entering, and processing AP invoices with accuracy and efficiency
• Support the reconciliation of accounts payable transactions and help resolve discrepancies
• Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies
• Utilize Excel to organize data, create reports, and perform analysis to support finance operations
• Work with accounting and finance software to enter and manage financial records (training provided)
• Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize accounts payable workflows
• Work cross-functionally with the finance team and other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial processing

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
