Accounting Internship

Summary

The job is for an Accounting Intern to join the finance team of Qualifio/Actito in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium starting February 2025. The intern will assist with financial reports, accounts payable and receivable processes, conduct research, collaborate with team members, and perform other accounting tasks.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Notion of IFRS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in French and English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial reports
• Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Conduct research and compile data for various accounting projects and reports
• Assist with audit preparations and provide support during audits
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
