Accounting Manager

Summary

Join BLS Pets as a part-time, remote Accounting Manager, focusing on vendor and client financial coordination. This contractor role, preferably based on the U.S. West Coast, requires managing accounts payable, handling monthly billing, overseeing tax filings, and collaborating with domestic and international teams. Fluency in Mandarin and English is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting and finance experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with in-house experience preferred
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, invoice management, and reconciliation processes
• Experience working with vendors and customers on payment and billing issues
• Familiarity with IRS regulations, tax filings, and audit preparation
• Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin is preferred due to frequent communication with domestic and international teams
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor and client financial coordination, including invoice issuance and reconciliation
• Track and process accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
• Handle monthly billing processes, including statement preparation and documentation
• Oversee and coordinate IRS tax filings and assist with audit preparation
• Identify and resolve issues related to lost payment tracking or miscommunication with vendors and clients
• Collaborate with domestic (China-based) teams on financial processes and documentation requests
• Proactively improve processes to ensure clear, timely, and accurate reporting

• Based in the U.S. West Coast time zone for better coordination
• Previous experience working with cross-border teams, especially with China-based finance teams
