Accounting Manager

This position requires a strong understanding of GAAP, proficiency with ERP systems (Xero), and advanced Excel skills. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 7+ year in an accounting/finance role with 2+ year in accounting/finance leadership role
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices
• Proficiency with ERP systems (we use Xero)
• Advanced excel skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including, running payroll for all Nebula employees, accounts payable, accounts receivable and processing our creator payments
• Oversee general ledger including account reconciliation, journal entries, accruals and fixed assets
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements and closing end of month/year books
• Working with other departments within Nebula to provide financial information to support our business goals
• Maintain compliance with local, state, federal, and country tax authorities as it relates to payroll taxes and sales tax
• Enhance internal controls to mitigate financial risk
• Making sure that Nebula is in compliance with current account regulations and auditing best practices
