Accounting Manager

Join Wiz, a rapidly growing cloud security company, as an experienced Accounting Manager, Commissions. This critical role oversees the global commissions accounting process, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and supporting the company's revenue growth. You will own the end-to-end commissions accounting process, partner with cross-functional teams, implement and maintain commission systems, support audits, and provide accounting guidance. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred), 8+ years of relevant accounting experience (5+ years in commission accounting), and deep knowledge of ASC 606. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, with 5+ years in commission accounting
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606, commission capitalization, and SaaS industry practices
• Experience working in a high-growth tech or SaaS company
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Office/Google Suite
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end commissions accounting process, including monthly and quarterly accruals, amortization, and reporting in accordance with ASC 606 and US GAAP
• Oversee the calculation, validation, and reporting of commissions and variable compensation across the global sales organization
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Payroll, FP&A, and Revenue Accounting to ensure accurate and timely commission payouts
• Lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of commission systems (e.g., Spiff, Xactly, or similar)
• Support audits by providing documentation and analysis related to commissions and bonus accruals
• Review and implement controls to ensure SOX compliance for commissions-related processes
• Provide accounting guidance for new compensation plans, SPIFFs, or plan design changes
• Manage and mentor a team of commission analysts

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with NetSuite and a commission platform such as Spiff, Xactly, or CaptivateIQ
