Summary

Join Infotek Consulting as an Accounting Specialist, Managed Services! This customer-facing role requires daily accounting tasks, independent and team-based work, and client interaction. Responsibilities include processing accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, timesheet and expense processing, and account reconciliations. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily accounting tasks
  • Work independently and in teams
  • Complete parts of projects or activities as part of a team
  • Be client-oriented and able to explore sales activities
  • Process accounting tasks on behalf of clients and communicate effectively with clients to ensure deliverables are completed on time
  • Accounts Payable processing
  • Accounts Receivable processing
  • Invoicing
  • Timesheet and Expense processing
  • Account reconciliations
  • Effectively express ideas and thoughts in multiple modes (written and verbal)
  • Exhibit good listening and comprehension skills
  • Maintain effective communication to ensure all impacted participants are informed
  • Set and meet customer commitments and respond to customer needs on time
  • Use time efficiently and able to integrate change smoothly when priorities change
  • Prioritize and plan work activities appropriately
  • Gather and analyze information skillfully
  • Work well in a group problem-solving situation
  • Develop and communicate alternative solutions to complex problems
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness of proposed solutions with a focus on quality
  • Exhibit objectivity and openness to othersโ€™ views
  • Balance team and individual responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed the required billable utilization requirements as directed by the Manager
  • Record time worked daily
  • Working with clients
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of Costpoint Core and add-on functionality
  • Organize and execute assigned activities as directed by the Project Team, Senior or Principal Business Application Consultant
  • Develop and maintain internal and client-facing documentation, user guides, and templates
  • Be adaptable to learn new skills and modules as directed by the Manager

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with Deltek Products
  • AS/AA in business administration or relevant field preferred, although years of experience will be considered in lieu of Associateโ€™s degree
  • Deltek Certified in the below areas or the ability to become certified within 1 year of employment dependent upon the assigned role
  • Accounts Payable, Billing & Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, Projects
  • Time Collection, Expense
