Accounts Payable Accountant

Summary

Join WorkMotion's Accounts Payable team as an Accounts Payable Accountant and contribute to a global, remote-first company. You will process purchase invoices, manage vendor payments, handle travel expense reimbursements, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires several years of experience in Accounts Payable, a finance/accounting education, and strong attention to detail. Requirements

• Several years of professional experience dealing with Accounts Payable and proven education in Finance / Accounting
• Ability to manage high volumes of transactions with exceptional accuracy and efficiency in combination with an extraordinary service attitude towards internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in processing of the reimbursement of the travel expenses
• Detailed knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger coding, cost centre structures, and intercompany recharges
• Experience with accounting software and good excel/spreadsheet skills
• Excellent English language skills

Responsibilities

• Process all purchase invoices and book them in the accounting system
• Manage vendor payments to ensure that payment terms are honored
• Manage the process of the reimbursement of the travel expenses
• Collaborate with external parties to perform the open balance reconciliation
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all the vendor bills paid with the credit cards are collected timely

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Netsuite
• Experience with German GAAP (HGB)
• German language skills
