Join our fast-paced and growing Finance team as an Accounts Payable Manager to help us make a big green dent in the universe! We're looking for a highly motivated individual to manage a team of accounts payable specialists, oversee the processing of invoices and payments, and work on internal accounts payable processes and controls.

Requirements

  • A degree in accounting, finance or equivalent with a 2:1 or finance or accounting experience
  • Previous experience working in an Accounts Payable team and managing junior staff
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Ideally working experience using Netsuite accounting software and Pleo card
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident in communication and problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Review the processing of invoices and employee expenses
  • Review payments in a timely manner
  • Respond to, and action any stakeholder queries
  • Oversee AP invoice inbox and finance help desk
  • Take ownership of the Aged payables balances across various departments
  • Managing the AP team: Leading and training accounts payable assistant/specialist
  • Leading AP month-end closing process
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure P2P processes are adhered to
  • Assist with cost analysis and provide insights into the businesses key cost drivers
  • Opportunity to perform other ad hoc projects as assigned by your manager
  • Work with the systems team to make our accounts payable process and controls more efficient and effective
