Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or economics
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounts receivable management
  • Advanced English is mandatory
  • Excellent leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering results in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Netsuite is preferable), as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of Accounts Receivable and Collections operations, encompassing portfolio reconciliation and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of collections processes
  • Develop and refine collections strategies, including reminders, collections efforts, and dunning
  • Mentor and elevate the AR and collections teams through hands-on coaching and development initiatives
  • Design and implement robust reporting models to enhance visibility and decision-making
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers and partners, while monitoring collections targets and delivering comprehensive reports to internal stakeholders
  • Streamline financial reconciliation schedules and review bad debt provisions
  • Evaluate and implement operational and SOX controls as required
  • Foster a customer-centric culture across the organization, fostering collaborative relationships with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Senior Leadership
  • Conduct financial analysis for past due accounts, and high-risk customers, among other financial impact areas
  • Set quarterly aging, cash, and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) goals, monitoring progress against targets
  • Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate team performance
