Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years in a dedicated AR Manager role
  • Experience managing teams of 10+ AR professionals
  • Proficient in: Accounting platforms (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Acumatica)
  • Proficient in: Microsoft Excel (Power BI experience preferred)
  • Proficient in: Communication platforms (RingCentral, Dialpad, Front, Zendesk)
  • Excellent coaching and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities across multiple clients
  • Proficient in KPI tracking and reporting
  • Clear and adaptable communicator
  • Commercially minded with a strong understanding of AR performance levers

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main AR point of contact for multiple client accounts
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving
  • Implement and monitor AR processes that increase efficiency and reduce DSO
  • Identify automation and optimization opportunities across tools and workflows
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve AR-related tools
  • Support account strategy by identifying AR-related opportunities for improvement or upsell
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on AR performance data
  • Contribute to client success proposals or operational audits
  • Manage and coach a team of 10+ AR professionals, setting clear goals and development plans
  • Oversee workload balancing, ensure timely delivery, and uphold quality standards
  • Drive team alignment with company-wide priorities and KPIs
  • Maintain strong reporting dashboards and performance metrics (Power BI, Excel)
  • Utilize systems like QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Acumatica, and other platforms effectively
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance in all AR practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the cannabis industry and understanding its operational and regulatory nuances
  • A background that includes both startup agility and corporate structure
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration with departments like accounting, engineering, and operations
  • Experience managing relationships with third-party collections agencies
