Requirements

  • Associate degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional work experience
  • Detail-oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving with a focus on understanding operations
  • Proactive and self-motivated accounting professional, able to think independently
  • Intellectual curiosity and initiative to dive in, ask questions, and figure things out
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy
  • Authorized to work in the US and not require sponsorship
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system
  • Experience in SaaS or Construction
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to pick up new software and systems quickly
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations

Responsibilities

  • Prepare customer invoices and reconcile amounts to contracts or scoping documents
  • Actively review and analyze customer aging reports, and pursue collection of payments
  • Work with customers to improve our collection process and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist in developing policies and procedures that support the businessโ€™s growth
  • Assist with documenting procedures and policies over assigned areas
  • Follow and maintain internal controls
