Requirements
- Associate degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional work experience
- Detail-oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving with a focus on understanding operations
- Proactive and self-motivated accounting professional, able to think independently
- Intellectual curiosity and initiative to dive in, ask questions, and figure things out
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy
- Authorized to work in the US and not require sponsorship
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system
- Experience in SaaS or Construction
- Technical aptitude and the ability to pick up new software and systems quickly
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
Responsibilities
- Prepare customer invoices and reconcile amounts to contracts or scoping documents
- Actively review and analyze customer aging reports, and pursue collection of payments
- Work with customers to improve our collection process and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in developing policies and procedures that support the businessโs growth
- Assist with documenting procedures and policies over assigned areas
- Follow and maintain internal controls
