Summary

Join our team as an Agency Recruiter (Japanese Bilingual) and play a vital role in sourcing, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates for our clients. You will manage client relationships, source candidates through various channels, conduct interviews, and ensure a smooth recruitment process. Responsibilities include client relationship management, candidate sourcing and screening, placement, process management, compliance, market intelligence, and business development. The position is primarily remote with occasional client visits. A competitive salary (DOE, 50-70K+) and full benefits are offered.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in recruitment, staffing, or a sales-related role preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with candidates, clients, and team members
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and candidates simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to meet targets and thrive in a competitive environment
  • Ability to think quickly and resolve issues effectively during the recruitment process
  • Comfortable using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and social media platforms for sourcing candidates

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs and business objectives
  • Proactively search for qualified candidates using job boards, social media, networking, and other sources
  • Screen resumes and conduct interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
  • Match candidates with job opportunities and manage the placement process from offer negotiation to start date
  • Ensure a seamless recruitment process by handling administrative duties such as scheduling interviews, gathering feedback, and providing regular updates to clients
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and maintain accurate records of all candidate and client interactions
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, salary expectations, and other market factors to advise clients and candidates effectively
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities by identifying potential clients, developing leads, and engaging in sales activities to grow the company's client base
  • Conduct prospecting activities, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events
  • Conduct intake meetings with clients to agree on qualification criteria for candidates
  • Publish job ads on careers pages, job boards and social media
  • Source and contact passive candidates online (e.g. via LinkedIn)
  • Network with candidates and prospective clients
  • Screen resumes and job applications
  • Interview candidates and provide shortlists of qualified potential hires
  • Update clients on hiring status (e.g. number of screened candidates)
  • Prepare candidates before interviews with clients
  • Create talent pipelines with high-potential candidates for future job opportunities
  • Keep detailed records of past applicants’ information, including resumes, assignments and interview evaluations
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain good relationships with them

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Prior experience in a staffing agency or recruitment firm
