Summary
Join Movement Strategy as their Content & Engagement Manager, a full-time remote position based in Los Angeles, Denver, or New York City. You will report to the Associate Director or Director of Content & Engagement and collaborate with various teams. As the face and voice of major brands, you will manage social media, create engaging content, and build passionate communities. The ideal candidate possesses extensive social media expertise, content development skills, and project management experience. You will be responsible for content planning, publishing, community management, and reporting. Requirements
- 3-5+ years experience creating and managing social media content for various brand channels on primarily Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube (agency setting preferred)
- A creative background
- Passionate and knowledgeable about pop culture and social media trends
- Expert knowledge of all current social platforms (posting, scheduling, and creating content), including best practices
- Experience with social listening and publishing tools (like Dash Hudson, Sprinkr, Brandwatch)
- Impeccable writing, public speaking, and overall communication skills
- Social content and editorial expert
- Ability to identify opportune ideas proactively and help bring them to life for a brand
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Proficient or experience using Asana (project management), Airtable or Sprinklr (content management), and Canva, Figma, or Adobe Express (design) - or similar tools
- Self-motivated and a master multi-tasker
- Ability to manage, communicate, and prioritize tasks based on urgency and timelines
- Ability to prepare and finalize formal client-ready documents and liaise with clients, partners, and internal teams
- Flexibility working weekends, holidays, early mornings or evenings
Responsibilities
- Manage social media content for various brand channels on Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube
- Create and manage social media content calendars for large brands
- Develop both copy and creative to support the content calendar
- Ensure social media posts are approved by clients in a timely manner
- Gauge timing effectively and efficiently to make recommendations to the content calendar
- Bring a brandβs social character and tone of voice to life through brand engagement
- Manage identifying opportune moments for community interactions
- Stay in tune with the overall social conversation and identify trends and engagement opportunities
- Manage content publishing and channel appearance across accounts
- Ensure all posts go live at the determined date and time without mistakes
- Understand a brandβs voice and tone and adopt it into the social vernacular
- Understand audience behavior and nuances of Instagram and TikTok
- Interact with internal teams and clients daily
- Explain the insight or reasoning behind creative and communicate recommendations
- Contribute qualitative insights to monthly and campaign-related content reports
- Develop actionable recommendations for content optimizations
