Summary

Join CapTech as a Professional Consultant and Senior Agile Coach, partnering with clients to implement Agile methodologies. You will guide organizations through Agile transformations, providing coaching and training at various levels. Responsibilities include assessing current environments, recommending optimal practices, facilitating Agile events, and performing hands-on project work. Success requires strong Agile experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build consensus. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT full development life cycle
  • 5+ year experience with Scrum / Kanban methodologies
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence
  • Ability to help teams write user stories/epics, identify dependencies, and design optimal solutions
  • Attitude and ability to work through ambiguity and find creative solutions around roadblocks
  • Track record of proactively building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, key stakeholders, and team members
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Flexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
  • Willingness for occasional travel
  • Working knowledge of Jira and/or Confluence or other Agile delivery tools

Responsibilities

  • Quickly establish collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and team members to help them in their journey of adopting Agile methodology
  • Become a strategic partner to drive ROI and greater adoption and higher transformation success
  • Provide coaching and training at the program and team levels in an emerging Agile environment
  • Assess the current organization and delivery environment and recommend optimal Agile practices tailored to the client
  • Perform in various agile roles, including Scrum Master, where needed
  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate agile events at the team and program level
  • Influence at all levels of an organization and help implement recommended changes
  • Prepare and deliver effective communications both verbally and orally regarding progress and status for both internal and client teams
  • Perform hands-on project work, including analysis, design and change management, as needed by the project

Preferred Qualifications

  • CSM, CSPO and higher certification or equivalent
  • Experience and certifications in one or more scaling frameworks - SAFe Program Consultant certification
  • Experience with Value Stream Identification and Mapping
  • Experience with lean product development leading practices, previous experience as a Product Owner
  • Experience in consulting or working with diverse clients/industries
