Join Ramboll's Environment & Health Division as an Air Quality Consultant and contribute to creating a sustainable future. Based in the Bay Area, Denver/Fort Collins, or fully remote, you will be part of the Northwest Air & Climate Team. Key responsibilities include conducting meteorological and air quality modeling studies, performing statistical and geospatial analyses, and contributing to complex projects. The ideal candidate possesses a B.S. or M.S. in a related field with a strong GPA and relevant experience. Requirements

• B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Atmospheric or Environmental Science, or a closely related field with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and 2+ years of experience, or an M.S. in the same fields with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Experience in air quality or related areas such as atmospheric chemistry, meteorology, modeling, emissions processes, or satellite and remote sensing
• Experience with air quality models (box, dispersion, trajectory, or chemical transport models), graphics software (GIS, NCL) and strong programming skills (Python, FORTRAN, other structured languages [C, C++], R, MATLAB, IDL)
• Strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving and organization skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in small and large team environments collaboratively
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Responsibilities

• Conducting meteorological modeling/analysis, and air quality modeling studies using chemical box models, dispersion models, chemical transport models, and others
• Performing statistical and geospatial analyses of air quality data
• Analyzing modeling results and other datasets to achieve project’s goals
• Contributing your technical skills on complex projects to provide creative solutions to our clients in a collaboratively environment
