Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective AML/Anti-Fraud policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the company's compliance with AML regulations
• Analyze and investigate suspicious activities pertaining to lendings such as Money laundering, terrorism financing, frauds, and any other illegal activities that have been detected or reported
• Develop strategies designed to mitigate potential risks related to Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing, and Fraudulent activities
• Communicate effectively with law enforcement agencies, auditors, management, and customers regarding AML/Anti-Fraud matters
• Maintain and monitor AML and Anti-Fraud related reports to identify trends, patterns, and areas of weakness and potential areas of exposure for the company
• Provide training to employees and third parties on AML and Anti-fraud matters and ensure that staff is aware of the company's policies and procedures, and any new laws or regulations that may affect it
• Keep up to date with changes in regulatory requirements and monitor industry best practices as well as attend AML/ Anti-Fraud training programs to ensure compliance with regulations
• Deal with regulatory investigations or queries efficiently and effectively
