Responsibilities

  • Ensure the client is set up to trade with relevant and accurate data matched with signed agreements
  • Transactional reporting - Investigation of breaks/ resolution of breaks impacting regulatory reporting
  • Monitoring trades / work with desk to ensure trade flows downstream
  • UAT Tests - engaging with product development and IT team to assist in streamlining BAU activities. (BOTs, etc.)
  • Answering queries from the clients
  • BAU usually consist of trades related queries from clients, Trade settlements, booking of conversion trades/ transfers
  • Liaising with external and internal stakeholder (i.e: settlement team, asset servicing team, conversion team
  • End to end KYC/AML and client due diligence (CDD)
  • Gathering and analysing KYC documentation in accordance with the clients AML policy requirements to identify and close any gaps
  • Ensuring that key stakeholders are kept informed on progress or bottlenecks within the end-to-end KYC review process
  • Escalation to the appropriate teams where information cannot be sourced or provided / where prior exceptions have been granted on existing files and / or where additional sign off required to proceed
  • Sourcing of data from approved public sources using the methods outlined in policies and procedures

As an Analyst, you will be learning whilst working for Delta Capita’s clients, in a fast-paced environment with support and training provided. You will be placed on project with one of Delta Capita’s clients, the project will be within Delta Capita’s Post Trade Services team or Client Lifecycle Management team, further information on each of these is below. Over time, the Analyst role gives you the opportunity to rotate across different areas of financial institutions, as well as across multiple clients, therefore enabling you to gain exposure to various areas of the Financial Services Industry. This is an exciting and varied opportunity for anyone looking to kick start their career in financial services.

The Role and Responsibilities

Your day to day may vary depending on which projects you are assigned to. Below provides examples of the types of day to day activities you may engage in on a project:

Operations - Post Trade Services

  • Ensure the client is set up to trade with relevant and accurate data matched with signed agreements. (Defaults/pricing/commissions etc.)
