Analytics Analyst

Summary

Join World Business Lenders (WBL) as an Analytics Analyst and leverage your data science expertise to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. This remote contract/consultancy position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in data analysis or a related role. You will manage and organize large-scale datasets, utilize big data tools, and support the development of comprehensive reporting suites. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential. The position offers PTO and a salary between $1000 and $1300 USD. This is a 100% work-from-home position with working hours from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm ET, Monday through Friday. You will need your own laptop or desktop.

Requirements

• 100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or a related field
• Advanced Excel and SQL experience required
• Expertise in data science techniques, including data mining, statistical analysis
• Strong software development background, with experience using big data tools
• Experience with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required; Teams experience required
• You must have your own laptop or desktop to use (the company does not supply equipment)

Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decisions
• Manage and organize large-scale datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and consistency
• Utilize big data tools and technologies to process, analyze, and derive meaningful insights from structured and unstructured data
• Support the development and implementation of comprehensive reporting suites across the organization
• Assist with other projects and duties as assigned by the Business Analytics Manager

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or related roles preferred
• Industry experience in banking is preferred
