Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills with 1+ years of applied experience and demonstrated success in a professional setting
  • Ability to develop and tailor data solutions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Seeks to reduce their workload through automation, DRY practices, & building accountability
  • Comfortable with software engineering best practices like version control and using Git
  • Intellectually curious and passionate about their work

Responsibilities

  • Transform data and build metrics to drive Fraud & AML strategy
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand the best way to solve their data needs
  • Implement and maintain robust data controls to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Contribute back to the broader analytics developer practice at Wealthsimple by championing best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Python, dbt, data visualization softwares such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc
