Summary
Join EcoVadis's Data and Analytics team as a highly skilled Analytics Engineer. Develop and maintain data products using Databricks, SQL, and Python. Collaborate with various departments, prioritizing and delivering projects on time. Conduct end-to-end BI projects, manage workflows across multiple database solutions, and extend logging processes. Maintain existing Tableau solutions and train junior team members. This 12-month contract position (with possible extension) is located in Warsaw, Poland and offers flexible working hours and various benefits.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in the fields of SQL development, data solutions architecture, ETL management, data migration
- Customer orientation, ability to data mine and conclude on the findings
- Fluent English
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain database data product (50%)
- Conducting development operations on Databricks in alignment with applied data mesh architecture
- Developing GIT-integrated database solutions using SQL, Python
- Managing workflows across multiple database solutions
- Extending logging processes, SCD updates, snapshot data processing
- Promoting universal coding standards
- Drive collaboration & projects with specific business units by (30%)
- Being autonomous on your project portfolio
- Prioritizing and successfully delivering the roadmap on time
- Being involved at the deepest level with our internal client to understand their environment and adapt / deploy the relevant BI expertise
- Conducting BI projects from end to end by coordinating the different teams. Client, BI, IT, Security, Quality
- Designing and deploying data products
- Writing / updating processes related to the activity
- Communicating frequently with stakeholders about project status
- Identifying bottleneck situations and solving them with the BI team
- Training more junior team members in their operational activities
- Maintaining existing Tableau solutions (10%)
- Applying simple fixes to Tableau dashboards, developing simple dashboards for internal usage
- Creating and modifying data models for internal Tableau developers
- Increasing performance of Tableau data models by fine tuning existing solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Data prep or devops experience in Tableau (nice to have)
- Understanding of SCRUM principles (nice to have)
- Project management experience (including leadership skills) would be an asset
