Analytics Engineer

Summary

Join Envato as an Analytics Engineer and play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining data warehouses and datamarts. Collaborate with the Data Platform Architect and Analytics team to implement database models and best practices. You will be responsible for designing technical solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, building and maintaining data marts, writing DBT code, ensuring data integrity, and managing stakeholder interactions. This role requires 2+ years of experience in analytics and/or engineering, strong skills in DBT data modeling and SQL, and experience with various tools. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in analytics and/or engineering
• Strong skills in DBT data modeling and SQL
• Experience with tools like Redshift/Snowflake, GitHub, and BuildKite
• Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration with technical and business teams
• Open to feedback, continuously improving, and aligned with Envato’s values

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical solutions based on business requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytics goals and data models
• Build and maintain trust in analytics data marts and models
• Write, review, and maintain high-quality DBT code following best practices
• Ensure data integrity through regression testing and version control
• Support and troubleshoot production DBT models, resolving data issues
• Manage stakeholder interactions, expectations, and business knowledge
• Solve problems with a sustainable, long-term approach
• Actively contribute to team meetings, standups, and process improvements
• Communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly
