Android Developer

Summary

The job is for an Android Developer in Devtech's Global Services Unit. The role involves developing dynamic mobile applications using Java and Kotlin, designing user interfaces, connecting apps to back-end services, optimizing performance, and participating in company-wide knowledge sharing efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of demonstrated professional experience in mobile development
• Extensive knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with Java and/or Kotlin
• In-depth understanding of the Android SDK, including UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Experience with offline databases such as SQLite, Realm, and Room
• Strong understanding of threading, multithreading, and optimizing performance for memory, CPU, GPU, and Battery performance optimization
• Solid grasp of networking concepts, including Subnet, VPN, IPSEC, SSL, and DNS
• Experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level applications
• Proficiency in using code versioning tools, particularly GIT
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with NDK development using C/C++ is a plus
