Requirements

  • US Citizenship - candidates being considered for a Public Sector roles must be a U.S. citizen
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of directly relevant industry experience
  • Appian Senior Developer certification or greater
  • Familiarity with Appian testing methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to understand requirements and provide recommendations to ensure quality and completeness of stories
  • Estimate effort and complexity for user stories and tasks during spring planning
  • Develop Appian capabilities, data records/models, and functionalities while adhering to best practices and design
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Appian applications and integrations
  • Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and contribute to the development of internal documentation and training materials
  • Provide testing support, including creating test cases and identifying testing needs
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and QA engineers to deliver integrated solutions
  • Stay updated with the latest Appian features, tools, and industry trends
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the continuous enhancement of development practices
