Requirements

  • Master's or diploma degree with relevant professional experience or equivalent knowledge and skills
  • At least five years of professional experience, with at least three years in IT administration
  • Strong customer-oriented and entrepreneurial thinking and behavior, even at the management level
  • Professional, trustworthy, and empathetic demeanor at the management level
  • Excellent systematic and structured work style
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • High flexibility, resilience, and willingness to perform
  • Strong and broad technical understanding
  • Expert knowledge in the desired task area, as well as good knowledge of adjacent technologies
  • Proficient in using the MS Office suite
  • Strong cooperation, teamwork, and conflict management skills
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco FW systems such as ASA and Firepower
  • Strong knowledge of various network topologies (Ethernet, WLAN, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS/ACI
  • Good knowledge of services such as Multicast, DHCP, DNS, NAT, Tacas, and Radius
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructures
  • Good experience in working in project teams
  • Good experience working in cross-team working groups and task forces
  • Good German skills

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning, design, and execution of commissioning and operation for complex network systems
  • Identifying and analyzing problems and initiating solution measures
  • Project planning and execution of commissioning and operation
  • Problem identification and documentation using a trouble ticket system, even in complex system landscapes
  • Initiating escalation procedures in critical problem cases
  • Serving as a technical contact
  • Representing the Network Administration department in cross-functional solution teams
  • Evaluating and assessing new technologies
  • Administering the deployed network and security systems
  • Integrating new customers into existing operational processes
  • Processing/executing complex orders
  • Installing and maintaining tools
  • Designing and introducing support tools
  • Participating in the development and planning of service concepts
  • Coordinating order processing
