Summary

Responsibilities include developing solutions, maintaining existing systems, creating marketing materials, building configurations, performing system maintenance, mentoring junior developers, and engaging in continuous learning. The role requires a bachelor's degree, 3+ years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience, specific certifications, and proficiency in various technologies.
Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Have 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or equivalent role
- Come from an extensive email development background
- Have knowledge and experience building responsive HTML emails that follow industry best practices and testing emails using Email on Acid and/or Litmus
- Have completed the Marketing Cloud Consultant and Marketing Cloud Developer certifications
- Have experience using AMP script, SQL, SSJS, HTML and CSS
- Have familiarity with tagging and tracking mechanisms including, UTM’s, Google Analytics, Pixels
- Have intermediate experience with SQL in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Have a proactive attitude to platform enhancements
- Build strong test scripts and thoroughly test your solutions
- Enjoy debugging and have excellent problem-solving skills
- Have strong attention to detail and ability to create & follow documentation
- Have demonstrated success working in an Agile methodology, are familiar with tools like Jira and DevOps practices
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement solutions ensuring high-quality, timely delivery
- Support the maintenance and documentation of existing solutions, ensuring they remain robust and scalable
- Create custom emails, templates and Cloud pages with HTML and CSS that render properly across different email clients, different devices and dark mode
- Build configuration changes including (but not limited to): Automation Studio, Journey Builder, integrations, API’s, Email Studio, Audience Builder, and subscriber management
- Build, utilize, and configure any Marketing Cloud customizations for Marketing Cloud Personalization and Data Cloud
- Perform proactive system maintenance and monitoring including security reviews, release updates, email monitoring, and optimizer
- Assist in coaching and mentoring junior developers, fostering their growth and development within the team
- Engage in continuous learning and exploration of new technologies to enhance our digital properties and improve efficiency
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain code quality and consistency
- Provide documentation, training, consulting and insights on Salesforce best practices, trends, and upcoming features to Arc’teryx teams
- Focus on growing and building scalable solutions on our Marketing environments
- Collaborate with teams across Arc’teryx on projects that push our guest experience to an omni channel single source of truth record
- Develop personalized use cases in collaboration with our Data Cloud and MCP teams
- Maintain our growing suite of Salesforce and other vendor products which include Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Personalization, and Marketing Cloud Engagement
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience in data cloud or marketing cloud personalization tools and Data Cloud certifications(s)
- Have excellent communication and influencing skills
