Summary

Join Accesa as a Technical Support Engineer and contribute to the success of a leading European lighting solutions company. You will be part of the BIS Integration project team, supporting the customer's SEEBURGER platform. Responsibilities include managing virtual machines, operating systems, and databases; monitoring system performance; handling user permissions and licenses; creating and maintaining workflows; and managing incidents. This role requires proven experience with SEEBURGER BIS platforms and strong problem-solving skills. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Technical Support Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in SEEBURGER BIS platforms
  • Hands-on experience with configuration and administration within the SEEBURGER BIS 6.7 environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical operations of virtual machines, operating systems, and databases, including installing updates in alignment with the Server and Storage team
  • Handle vulnerabilities detected by the IT Security Team
  • Conduct technical monitoring of virtual machines, operating systems, and databases in alignment with the Server and Storage team
  • Conduct technical monitoring of network connectivity in alignment with the Networking team
  • Conduct technical monitoring of the BIS system in alignment with the Monitoring team
  • Conduct technical monitoring of connectivity with business partners and service providers
  • Analyze and tune system performance
  • Create and provide permissions for BIS system users
  • Apply for licenses for the BIS system (e.g., BIC Mapping Designer)
  • Create and extend new and existing workflows in BIS based on business requirements
  • Administer the repository and MapDB (deletion, unlocking objects, etc.)
  • Perform daily manual checks of B2B Portal and BIS availability, ensuring the readiness of BIS components and processes, and monitoring processes with "Active" and "Error" statuses in the BIS Front-end
  • Setup and maintain technical connectivity to internal systems, service providers (e.g., OpenText), and business providers (including handling certificates and keys)
  • Setup and maintain technical parameters in the "Entities Explorer" in the BIS Front-end
  • Setup downtimes for remote systems (e.g., AS2, FTP, OFTP, RosettaNet, SFTP, SAP)
  • Handle incidents from BIS users or system-related incidents
  • Maintain temporary contact with business partners (e.g., during connection setup)
  • Perform migration activities

  • Knowledge of the order management process
