Requirements
- At least 3+ years of leadership experience in sales or account management within the travel industry, with a strong track record of business development and revenue growth
- Proven ability to effectively manage, motivate, and develop a team
- In-depth knowledge of the Italian travel market, particularly in working with API integrations, tour operators, TMCs, and wholesalers
- Experience negotiating and closing technology-driven sales deals
- Familiarity with API integration and online booking systems
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Based in Italy
- Willing to travel frequently (40-50% of working time) to meet clients and attend industry events
Responsibilities
- Promote our innovative international project and strengthen RateHawkβs presence in the Italy Region market
- Expand and consolidate our partnerships with top Partners including tour operators, TMCs, wholesaler, selling mainly trough API channel
- Drive revenue growth in the region, ensuring the team meets or exceeds planned sales targets
- Lead and support the sales team in managing key accounts, providing mentorship and guidance to help them achieve their objectives and KPIs
- Actively search for new business opportunities while maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing partners
- Conduct high-level negotiations with key partners to establish long-term collaborations
- Participate in creating and implementing the cluster plan to drive business growth
- Regularly analyse market trends, competitor activities, and team performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
- Foster team development, from recruitment to continuous training, enabling team members to excel and achieve their goals
- Contribute to product development by providing feedback from partners and staying updated on industry trends
