The position involves a wide range of activities, including maintaining and growing revenue by identifying new upsell and cross-sell opportunities. This flexible role can be performed remotely anywhere within the United States or from our Oakland office. Compensation is competitive and includes a mix of annual salary and variable compensation, along with various benefits.
Requirements
- Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
- Organization Master: Staying on top of all matters in-flight by documenting, tracking, and supporting the daily functioning and operations of customer programs. Attention to detail and professionalism is key in all communications
- Self-Starter: You don’t sit around and wait for things to happen. You’re aggressive about getting the necessary tasks done while also anticipating needs before they arise
- Curious: Your passion for knowledge and learning drives you to constantly dig deeper to understand your customers, Marqeta, our technology, and the payments industry. Come to the table with potential solutions rather than problems
- Strategic Connector: Build relationships and navigate internal teams in order to get answers, drive progress, and create solutions in a timely manner
- FinTech Fascination: You want to develop a deep knowledge of disruption in the payments space while working with the top innovators in the space. Strong skill-set working with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF statements, SUMIFs, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow revenue by identifying new upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Collaborate with AE partners to drive all aspects of a customer growth and retention strategy
- Day-to-day management of customer portfolio
- Ensure partnership and programs are running smoothly and successfully
- Be a trusted leader to the customer and help them navigate the payments landscape
- Create monthly customer-centric content to keep the broader organization apprised of customer updates, key metrics, and other information pertinent to the Revenue & Go To Market team
- Add strategic value to the team by identifying opportunities to drive business and process improvements
- Develop and deliver high-impact presentation materials in Powerpoint/Google Slides, Word/Google Docs, and Excel/Google Sheets (QBRs, Executive Briefing Decks, process outlines, etc.)
- Perform in-depth analysis to identify macro, business, technology, and pipeline trends for key customers
