Assistant Accountant

Summary

The job is for an Accounting position with responsibilities in payment preparation, general accounting duties, auditing, month-end closing, and other accounting tasks as needed. The ideal candidate should have a Higher Diploma in Accounting or related field, 1-2 years of experience, problem-solving skills, flexibility, detail-mindedness, knowledge in Oracle Netsuite, proficiency in English and Chinese, and MS Office especially Excel.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 1-2 years solid Accounting field experience
• Positive attitude towards problem-solving
• Fast learner with high flexibility and detail-minded
• Knowledge in Oracle Netsuite will be an advantage
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Proficiency in MS Office especially in Excel
• Immediate availability is highly preferable

Responsibilities

• Prepare payments and maintain accurate payment records
• Handle general accounting duties: data entry, bank reconciliation etc
• Assist in audit-related matters
• Assist with month-end closing and other accounting duties as needed
