Assistant Manager, Third Party Logistics

Summary

Join Kao and lead the relationship with assigned 3rd Party warehouses, primarily working from home. Drive accountability for cost and service across multiple third-party warehouses. Manage cost, budget, exceptions, inventory control, continuous improvement projects, and partner meetings. Manage 3rd party warehouse providers to maximize customer service. Manage cost efficiency and warehouse exceptions. Build and manage internal and external relationships. Coordinate inventory inspection, rework, and disposal. Participate in and lead projects. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 6+ years of experience managing 3rd party logistics
• 2+ years 3PL management with strong SAP skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High-level understanding of Excel
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Project Management experience
• Willingness to travel to 3rd Party warehouses

Responsibilities

• Manage the assigned 3rd party warehouse provider to maximize our customer service deliverables by maintaining a responsive and fluid warehousing organization
• Manages and maximizes cost efficiency
• Manages all warehouse exceptions including but not limited to the following: damages, short shipments, late receipts, order carry over, etc
• Builds and manages internal and external relationships
• Coordinates the inspection, rework and disposal of all rejected inventories
• Participates and at times leads projects applicable to their assigned warehouse
