Assistant Project Manager

Summary

The Assistant Project Manager - Insurance Agency Management Systems will oversee project management of system and data conversion initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure adherence to quality standards. Requirements include 7+ years' experience in technology consulting with a focus on Insurance Agency Management Systems, proficiency in specific systems and SQL, and strong analytical skills.

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience in technology consulting with a focus on Insurance Agency Management Systems
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects
• Proficiency in Insurance Agency Management systems such as AMS360, BenefitPoint, Sagitta, Applied Epic, HawkSoft, EzLynx, TAM
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with data migration tools and platforms and ETL process
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to critically evaluate information, identify trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead overall management of conversion initiatives including planning, resource allocation, timeline management and execution
• Monitor and track progress of conversion initiatives, identifying and addressing any potential roadblocks or issues
• Oversee the execution of conversion projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status and progress of conversion initiatives
• Conduct post-conversion reviews and analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, both internally (Marketing, Sales, Software Engineering) and externally (clients Business Applications Team, IT team, Business teams), to ensure alignment of data conversion efforts with overarching business strategies
