Summary

Join Oscar's Quality Improvement team as an Associate and manage the day-to-day operations of a project portfolio, ensuring timely and high-quality completion while adhering to regulatory guidelines. You will lead process improvements, coordinate stakeholders, and contribute to compliance reporting. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and other departments to maintain operational excellence and accreditation. The position offers a blended work culture with remote options and competitive compensation, including benefits and bonuses. You will report to the Quality Improvement Operations Manager and must reside in one of the specified states. The role requires strong project management and health insurance experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of strong project management or operational experience in the health insurance space
  • 3+ years experience in change management and process improvement
  • 3+ years stakeholder management experience
  • Knowledge of NCQA regulatory standards & guidelines
  • Experience with data systems (such as Periscope, Looker)

Responsibilities

  • Organize and support daily activities based on the goals of the program
  • Identify optimization opportunities and lead process improvement initiatives that align with regulatory expectations and operational goals
  • Lead specific components of the program, including timelines, documentation, committee operations, and internal project governance
  • Support end-to-end implementations, including stakeholder coordination, progress tracking, risk management, and milestone reporting
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and internal teams to promote execution and regulatory alignment
  • Assist in the development of meeting content such as agendas, presentations, policy updates, and program documentation to support internal governance
  • Support quarterly program and compliance reporting, including data synthesis and presentation for executive and regulatory audiences
  • Partner with other departments and stakeholders to ensure operational excellence, including compliance with NCQA, CMS, and other state/federal regulations
  • Develop tools, standards, and meeting structures to support team performance and audit readiness
  • Track and monitor project controls, risks, and key performance indicators to support compliance and efficiency
  • Facilitate project retrospectives to assess operational strengths and gaps, and apply insights to future implementations
  • Act as a key contributor in maintaining accreditation and quality improvement documentation standards
  • Support training and documentation related to internal policies and regulatory expectations
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
