Summary

Join Third Bridge's Client Services Team as an Associate, driving client relationships and connecting them with industry experts. Initially, you will hone your skills in targeting, sourcing, and screening specialists, then manage your own book of business with major Public Equity and Credit investment funds. You will spend significant time on the phone, understanding client needs and matching them with experts. The role involves negotiating with experts, scheduling calls, and adhering to compliance frameworks. After 4-5 months, you will focus on long-term client performance and understanding their research needs. Third Bridge offers comprehensive onboarding and development programs, with opportunities for career advancement and various learning programs.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • The work is fast-paced – you will be working on multiple requests each day, with tight timelines and high standards so you’ll need to organize your time well, have great attention to detail and adhere to our compliance framework
  • You’ll be responsible for building relationships with our Public Equity clients as well as a wide variety of industry experts across different industries and seniority levels, so you need to have great communications skills (both written and verbal) and be able to adapt your communication style effectively
  • Your projects will span a wide variety of industries and geographies which you will need to understand at a high level. It’s important that you enjoy learning, are able to quickly understand key information and use this to find the right experts for each project
  • An interest in financial markets and the environment that our Public Equity & Credit clients operate in. Keeping up with their direction of research, which may require continual and frequent projects

Responsibilities

  • Understand Public Equity client needs and the most relevant experts that could help them
  • Deliver excellent client service by being a fast, responsive, thoughtful and proactive research partner
  • Engage with industry experts for our clients by reaching out over the phone and through professional correspondences, to understand whether they are the right fit
  • This would also involve regularly cold-calling potential experts who uniquely match the project requirements
  • A substantial portion of your daily activities would involve engaging in telephone conversations with specialists who possess distinctive relevance to your clients’ projects, frequently amidst stringent time constraints
  • Negotiate and persuade experts to connect with our clients at short notice, scheduling calls as soon as possible, whilst operating within our industry leading compliance framework
  • After 4-5 months you’ll be driving the long-term performance of your book of business, by understanding the clients’ research needs and monitoring how our content can best help them on a continual basis

  • Salary: competitive base salary of HKD 300,000 which increases upon performance milestone achievement (average timeframe is 12-14 months) plus an uncapped bonus
