- Have a high level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Rapidly organize information, identify patterns, draw conclusions, and succinctly communicate key points in our data to senior consultants on our team, and eventually clients
- Translate knowledge visually in larger data files and presentations using custom quantitative and qualitative datasets
- Manage a variety of unique custom projects simultaneously, thus practicing efficient time management skills
- Work collaboratively across several different Mintel divisions such as sales, marketing, research analytics, and operations to deliver best-in-class custom work to our clients
- Sit in on client calls, understand client objectives and as your career grows, act as a key point for clients
- Assist in designing research methodologies tailored to meet client needs and project objectives
- Support research projects across multiple industries from kick-off to completion, including: survey programming, fielding, data cleaning, and charting
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor landscapes
- Work effectively both independently and collaboratively with a team in a consultative setting, multi-tasking on several projects at once to effectively meet all deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience working on primary, custom marketing research projects
- Have experience with tools such as Q, SPSS, SAS or other cross-tabulation and statistics tools
