The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of experience in management consulting, business insights, or data analytics, along with strong analytical skills using tools like Excel, SQL, Python, or R. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential. A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is preferred.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in management consulting, business insights, or data analytics
- You have experience pulling and joining large data sets and performing analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R
- You are comfortable working through ambiguity, and won’t let a lack of definition stop you from moving things forward, whether that’s a tracking down a new dataset or engaging with new cross-functional stakeholders
- You enjoy collaboration & are comfortable working with senior leaders
- You’re an independent worker who can run against problems with relatively little direction, knows when and how to escalate effectively if blocked and when to triangulate
- Highly Proficient in MS Excel, Powerpoint
- Excellent interpersonal skills and cross-functional communication
- Highly organized & able to juggle multiple work streams at once
Responsibilities
- Manage reporting structures to serve as sources of truth for metric reporting across the business using Tia’s BI tools
- Own strategic analysis that can be leveraged by leadership to determine Tia’s roadmap for business planning
- Develop Tia’s analytics solution to streamline our data reporting processes and bring together internal and external data sources
- Serve as a trusted partner for leadership stakeholders and provide strategic insight to drive their business area
- Create financial and operational models and run scenario analysis for key business decisions
- Play a key role in defining Tia’s business priorities and strategy quarter over quarter
- Become an expert on all of Tia’s key business metrics to proactively identify opportunities for analytical insights and operational improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferably a B.S. / B.A. in finance, business, accounting, economics, statistics, engineering, mathematics, operations research or other quantitative major
- Proficiency in SQL and BI tools (Metabase, Periscope, Tableau, etc)
