Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Advertising or related field from a four-year college or university
• 2 or more years of related work experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Writing experience in several forms of media
• Comfortable working under pressure within tight deadlines
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence
• Ability to write creative copy and simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Ability to understand, breakdown, and simplify data

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts in multiple media platforms
• Write advertising copy from conception to completion for print, broadcast and online media to promote the sale of goods and services
• Collaborate with art directors and production on projects
• Deliver presentations to team creatives whenever needed
• Write in a variety of styles, when needed
• Participate in strategy discussions as needed
• Remain current on industry trends and technologies
