Remote Associate Director

Summary

Join our rapidly growing Business Transformation and Sage Intacct practice as an Associate Director, serving as a trusted partner to clients, leading teams, developing junior team members, and participating in business development activities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting
• Proven track record in the functional and technical design of multiple modules within a Financial System solution
• Prior experience in a professional services environment (public accounting, advisory firm, or management consulting firm)
• Proficiency in working with data to meet export/import requirements
• Demonstrated ability in data formatting and manipulation
• Previous experience advising commercial companies in areas such as finance optimization, operations improvement, business process improvement, change management, program or project management
• Experience managing client and/or internal teams
• Project management experience in developing and steering project plans, project budgets, communication and alignment with key client stakeholders and internal team members
• Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members
• Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, or similar technical discipline
• Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist certification

Responsibilities

• Lead Sage Intacct-related projects
• Gather and understand requirements
• Design future state solutions
• Oversee implementations
• Direct post-production support escalations
• Conduct health checks
• Gap analysis assessments
• Facilitate enhancement projects
• Leverage knowledge of key accounting business processes
• Identify and analyze complex issues within the CFO's office
• Collaborate with CrossCountry colleagues across Service Offerings
• Propose and deliver integrated solutions to Sage Intacct customers
• Identify issues, risks, and potential conflicts within the project
• Devising effective and timely resolution strategies
• Serve as a key leader, defining project strategy, goals, and deliverables
• Participate in marketing and business development initiatives
• Mentor team members through coaching, providing regular feedback and annual performance reviews
