Associate Director

Summary

Join Tempus' rapidly growing Life Sciences team as a Key Account Director to create and expand global client relationships with leading biopharmaceutical organizations.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) in health economics, health services research, epidemiology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HEOR or RWE, with a proven track record of leading research projects and managing teams. Experience in oncology research is required
• Strong knowledge of epidemiological methodologies, real-world evidence generation, and statistical analysis
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R). Ability to conduct analyses utilizing claims and EHR data is required
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute retrospective database analyses and observational studies to assess the outcomes of programs, products, or interventions
• Work closely with internal teams, including key account directors, business development, alliance management, data sciences, and biostatistics to align research objectives with organizational goals
• Prepare and present interim analyses and deliverables to biopharma customers. Create detailed reports, presentations, and publications to communicate results
• Work closely with the alliance manager for the execution, and deliverables of outcomes research projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with regulatory and ethical standards
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in outcomes research. Apply this knowledge to enhance research methodologies and improve overall research quality
