Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in network management and cybersecurity, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Extensive knowledge of network infrastructure, security frameworks, risk management, and incident response
- Proven experience in leading teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset for both network and cybersecurity challenges
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards such as GDPR, GxP, and NIST. Experience with regulatory compliance, including risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF/RMF, ISO2700x/31000)
- Experience in managing projects, budgets, and vendor relationships related to network and cybersecurity initiatives
Responsibilities
- Oversee Network Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and cloud-based SASE solutions
- Optimize Network Performance: Monitor network performance and implement improvements to ensure high availability, reliability, and efficiency
- Network Troubleshooting: Address and resolve network issues and outages, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Develop Cybersecurity Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect Allucent assets and data from threats and vulnerabilities
- Implement Security Measures: Oversee the deployment and management of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols
- Incident Response: Lead and manage responses to security incidents, including identification, containment, eradication, and recovery efforts
- Manage Teams: Lead and mentor the network and cybersecurity teams, providing guidance, support, and professional development
- Foster Collaboration: Promote collaboration between network and cybersecurity teams and internal stakeholders and external partners and other third-party entities as needed
- Develop Policies: Establish and enforce network and cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices in line with industry standards and regulations
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
- Vendor Relations: Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring their solutions meet company security and performance requirements
- Lead the creation of network and security designs as part of the company’s strategic planning for a global cybersecurity program
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on network performance, security posture, and ongoing projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, CISM)
- Security or Risk-related certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, CISA, etc
- AWS and Azure cloud security and infrastructure
- Software as a Service (SaaS) applications
- DAST/SAST Security tools
