Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver sales pitch materials (60% of role)
- Lead technical discovery and initial team ramp-up for 1-2 project launches with the goal of delegating primary responsibilities to the project team (20% of role)
- Provide SME support for 2-3+ active projects on an as-needed basis (20% of role)
- Collaborate with the XD team to ensure successful project delivery
- Own the front end build system, defining best practices for frameworks and tools
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code that functions across devices and supported browsers
- Establish UI development patterns that align with modern web standards, focusing on accessibility and performance
- Architect reusable front-end components and optimize content author workflows
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on application development experience in a professional environment
- 5+ years of React experience
- 5+ years of mobile app development experience
- Experience implementing inclusive design best practices, exceeding WCAG standards
- Proficiency in modern web technologies, including CSS, TypeScript, HTML5, Tailwind, and Vite
- Experience writing unit tests with Jest or equivalent tools
- Familiarity with Git
- Experience working as part of a cross-functional team in an Agile environment (Scrum preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A 2- or 4-year degree in CS/Engineering, be a bootcamp grad, or be self-taught with practical experience
Benefits
- $127,000 - $170,000 a year
