Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Excellent knowledge C# .NET, MVC, Entity Framework
  • Proven ability to manage development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate between technical and business needs
  • Experience with modern development practices and tooling
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Guide architectural decisions, review code, and ensure best practices in software development, security, and performance optimization
  • Oversee timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of development initiatives
  • Work closely with business units, product managers, and IT teams to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and prioritize development efforts
  • Identify opportunities to enhance development workflows, automate processes, and implement best practices for software lifecycle management
  • Proactively assess potential technical and operational risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, providing recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of back-office systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing and mentoring other developers
  • Excellent knowledge of Unit Testing using xUnit or other similar tools
  • Database Design/Development with Relational/Non-relational DBs (such as Postgres, MS SQL, MongoDB)
