Associate Financial Analyst

Summary

Join LastPass as an Associate Financial Analyst and partner with our Human Resources and Legal teams. Guide operational planning, manage forecasts, and approve expenditures. Analyze personnel and operating costs to optimize financial performance. Create influential reports and dashboards for senior leadership. Contribute to ad-hoc strategic projects impacting LastPass’s growth. Work with organization partners and the Finance team. Collaborate on projects with the Business Intelligence team to drive operational improvements. This role requires strong analytical and modeling skills, including advanced Excel proficiency, and an understanding of financial statements.

Requirements

• Understanding of the three financial statements and how they work together
• Superior analytical and modeling skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel
• A self-starter with exceptional attention to details, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Guide operational planning
• Manage forecasts
• Approve expenditures
• Analyze personnel and operating costs to optimize financial performance
• Create influential reports and dashboards for senior leadership
• Contribute to ad-hoc strategic projects
• Developing a partnership with the leaders of the HR and Legal organizations
• Forecasting expense for G&A
• Margin and profitability analysis projects
• Headcount tracking for the entire organization
• Presentation materials for senior leadership team and board of directors

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple years' experience in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Experience presenting data findings to executives
