Associate General Counsel

The Associate General Counsel will be responsible for meticulously reviewing contracts, drafting policies, managing IP strategy, collaborating on insurance matters, and identifying and mitigating legal risks. This is an exempt position reporting to the SVP of Legal.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role
• Experience with in-house or corporate legal matters
• Strong experience with contract review
• Law degree and bar admission in good standing

Responsibilities

• Meticulously review contracts, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders, to ensure compliance with legal requirements and strengthen business points
• Draft and update policies and procedures with a keen emphasis on risk mitigation, legal compliance, and usability
• Manage IP strategy and execution, including registrations, internal compliance, and enforcement
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on insurance matters
• Identify and assess legal risks then collaborate on strategies to mitigate effectively

Benefits

• Salary: $150,000-175,000 + bonus
