Associate General Counsel

Summary

Join Quantum Metric as an Associate General Counsel and work directly with senior legal team members, providing commercial contracting, specialized support, and legal guidance across various company teams. You will review and negotiate customer and vendor contracts, offer training on legal issues, and partner with internal departments. This remote-first position requires 5-7 years of legal experience, a Juris Doctorate, and bar admission. Requirements

• 5-7 years of legal experience, with meaningful in-house experience in contract negotiation. SaaS contract negotiation experience is a plus
• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
• Admittance to practice law in your jurisdiction of residence
• Detail-oriented and highly motivated
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects/large workloads, and keep deadlines
• Exceptional business judgment, analytical skills, and critical thinking with demonstrated success working as a team player in a fast-paced environment
• Permanent residence in the East or Central U.S. Time Zone

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and approve various customer and vendor contracts covering a range of transactions
• Provide specialized insight and training to internal stakeholders on issues related to privacy and data security, intellectual property, corporate governance, and/or employment
• Partner with various internal departments, including human resources, to advise on legal issues and update company policies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in counseling in privacy and/or data security is a plus
• Experience in counseling on labor and employment issues
