Associate QA Analyst

Summary

Join That's No Moon, an independent game studio, as an Associate Quality Assurance Analyst for an upcoming AAA title. You will support the studio in testing and assisting with test plan execution, working collaboratively with designers, engineers, and production teams. Responsibilities include building and executing test plans, communicating with various teams, creating and validating JIRAs, writing documentation, and attending team meetings. The role requires 1+ years of QA experience or equivalent education, a basic understanding of test plan execution, and familiarity with JIRA. Bonus qualifications include Unreal Engine experience, experience with outsourced teams, and Testmo familiarity. This is a temporary project hire position with eligibility for various benefits.

Requirements

• 1+ years of relevant Quality Assurance experience or equivalent educational background
• Basic understanding of executing test plans
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar bug tracking tools

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and executing test plans for features and workflows
• Regularly communicate with designers, engineers, production, and QA leadership
• Create JIRAs to address deficiencies in the quality of the game
• Validate issues in Jira from both internal and external sources
• Write and maintain relevant documentation
• Attend meetings to inform the QA team on specific pillars of the game

Preferred Qualifications

• Unreal Engine experience
• Experience working with an outsource team
• Testmo or test case repository experience
