Requirements

  • Strong interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, or financial services
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace tools
  • Basic understanding of procurement, vendor management, or contract management processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
  • Comfort with a rapidly changing industry and willingness to learn new processes and tools
  • Ability to manage vendor records and documents with precision and care

Responsibilities

  • Assist in onboarding new vendors by collecting and verifying necessary documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain and update vendor records in the procurement system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Monitor vendor performance against established KPIs and service-level agreements (SLAs), identifying and escalating issues as needed
  • Support the Head of Procurement in evaluating vendor contracts, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements for vendor-related needs and support the procurement process
  • Assist in processing purchase orders, invoices, and payments, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
  • Help with tracking and managing vendor budgets to align with department and company goals
  • Conduct initial and periodic due diligence on vendors to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and security requirements
  • Assist in tracking vendor compliance with data security and confidentiality standards, especially regarding cryptocurrency operations
  • Monitor and report on vendor risks, escalating concerns to the Head of Procurement as appropriate
  • Prepare and maintain reports on vendor performance, costs, and other key metrics for internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to periodic audits and reviews by providing accurate and organized vendor-related data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges or blockchain technology is a plus
  • Experience with procurement or vendor management software (e.g., Malbek, Ironclad, Coupa etc.) is advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to support team objectives and company goals
