Summary

Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AIโ€™s potential impact on the function or industry
  • Education: Law degree required
  • Experience: At least 3-5 yearsโ€™ relevant experience negotiating technology agreements, including but not limited to SaaS or software licensing agreements
  • Sales Support: Demonstrated experience supporting a sales organization and closing deals efficiently in collaboration with business teams
  • Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiating and influencing skills, and a talent for non-confrontational, win-win negotiations
  • Critical Thinking and Judgment: Exceptional critical thinker, who possesses strong business acumen and excellent business judgment; must be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and pivot between responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to distill complex issues clearly and communicate well both one-on-one and in groups, and in internal and external contexts
  • Practical Approach: A pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving results while maintaining legal and business integrity
  • Technical Skills: Proficient drafting and legal technical skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Global Perspective: Working knowledge or experience working in an international context
  • Revenue Recognition: Understanding of revenue recognition principals and their application in transactional contexts
  • Team Player: Strong ability to collaborate effectively with both local and international team members, fostering a cohesive, respectful and productive working environment

Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate customer sales agreements that meet the companyโ€™s requirements under its policies, including those for risk tolerance, while working collaboratively with the business team
  • Be a trusted business partner, responding in a timely and productive manner to requests from internal customers
  • Advise internal customers regarding company policies and processes with respect to customer sales agreements
